NARI Atlanta Honors Brad Cruickshank
The National Association of the Remodeling Industry's Atlanta Chapter recently honored Brad Cruickshank, CR, founder of metro Atlanta-based Cruickshank Remodeling, for his longtime service to the chapter with the presentation of the first "Brad Cruickshank Leadership Award." Going forward, the award will be presented annually to one member who has demonstrated strong leadership skills and who carries the torch for NARI Atlanta. The announcement was made during NARI Atlanta's Contractor of the Year Awards gala at the King Plow Event Center.
"Brad Cruickshank was responsible for bringing the CotY Awards to Atlanta years ago," said Jesse Morado, CR and executive director of NARI Atlanta. Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards are presented to National Association of the Remodeling Industry members for outstanding remodeling projects in over 37 categories.
Over 25 years, Cruickshank has served nationally and locally in a variety of leadership roles, including national board member, three terms as chapter president and subsequent chairman of the board.
"NARI has been a very special part of my professional life for over 25 years," said Brad Cruickshank. "I am tremendously honored and flattered to receive this award."
Cruickshank served as vice chairman of the National CotY Awards Committee and also won a national CotY Award the first year he entered the competition. He said those two experiences and the resultant professional validation made him believe that implementing the program could be a very valuable and worthwhile program for NARI Atlanta to implement on a local level.
NARI is an organization of remodeling professionals who are committed to integrity, high standards, professional education, ethics and market recognition.
